Creative Writing Workshop with Ann Scowcroft

10.00am – 1.00pm
Event Code: W1
Price: USD 15.00

Do you feel inspired by the great writing that has drawn you to this festival? Might you be tempted to try your own hand at writing creatively? Then this workshop is for you. Beginners will learn how to plunge into the writing process; both first-time and practised writers just might discover veins for exploration that they didn’t know were there for the taking. In this workshop we will write together and learn how to listen for what is strong in both our own writing and the writing of others. Be honest: have you been thinking of taking up the pen? Have you been haunted by knowing that you want to? carpe diem!

Ann Scowcroft is a poet from Quebec, Canada. Her work has been published in a number of international literary journals. She is currently pursuing a PhD in second language acquisition.

Location: The Sun House, Galle
